Drew Strecker

Drew Strecker has been married to LeeAnn since 2004. Drew loves stories, whether that is by reading, watching, or listening to people share theirs. He especially enjoys scifi/fantasy stories in particular because it opens our minds and hearts to possibilities, as well as historical stories and biographic stories because they show us the human condition, loss, and resilience and what we are capable of.  When it comes to other hobbies, he enjoys working with His hands and baseball, but don't confuse him with a fan. It's the love of the game over the love of a team. It is his passion to pursue Jesus wholeheartedly and to help people find their life purpose and live a full life with Jesus.

Rev. Drew has been a licensed pastor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance since he began a residency in the fall of 2007. He has previously pastored at Risen King Alliance Church and The River of the C&MA both located just outside New York City, and prior to that he pastored at One Mission Church and was the Planting Pastor of Reformation Church (of Morrow Vietnamese Alliance Church) in Metro Atlanta. His experience includes preaching & teaching; church-planting; coaching and development of pastors, lay church leaders, and community leaders; community development; and overseeing small groups, men, and next-generation ministries since 2001.

Drew was born in the mountain city of Quito, Ecuador in South America. He spent his formative years growing up in Nyack, NY, Virginia Beach, VA, and in several large cities in Latin America.  He graduated from Toccoa Falls College in Georgia with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Missions in 2005. In 2016, he received a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary also in Intercultural Studies/Missions (Battery Park, NYC), This diverse background has deeply shaped him as a citizen of Heaven and a world citizen of earth. 

Drew has fond memories of his years working as an EMT in Atlanta. And recently he served an internship as a hospital chaplain in Manhattan.
